Water treatment<\/p>\n

AguaSmart\u2019s mission is to provide\u00a0low cost<\/strong>\u00a0drinking water<\/strong>\u00a0to areas that lack sufficient\u00a0energy sources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

AguaSmart<\/strong>\u00a0supplies\u00a0ecological water treatment systems<\/strong>\u00a0based on the latest developments in renewable energy such as photovoltaic modules and windmill technology.<\/p>\n

Our\u00a0self-contained<\/strong>\u00a0units can be installed anywhere and are intended for a population which requires\u00a0drinking water at the lowest cost<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Our units allow the treatment of all types of raw waters:\u00a0river, well, brine, brackish, sea\/saline water<\/strong>. It is also easily transported, installed, and operated due to its low-maintenance features.<\/p>\n

To achieve reliable and satisfactory results, we have coordinated our guidelines with the\u00a0<\/span>World Health Organization\u2019s (WHO)<\/strong>\u00a0recommendations for quality drinking water. AguaSmart is continuously working with engineering offices and analysis laboratories. Depending on the source of water, our water treatment systems feature two different filtering technologies:<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultra filtration<\/strong><\/p>\n

– River water
\n– Lake water
\n– Well Water
\n– Ground\/Aquifer water<\/p>\n

The ultra filtration membrane removes organic contaminants; viruses and bacteria to a size of .001 micron without using toxic chemical treatments. Ultra filtration works through a mechanical procedure where raw water is filtered by pressure through a high-tech hollow fiber membrane. This process retains the natural minerals found in the water.<\/p>\n

Reverse Osmosis<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Sea\/Saline Water
\n– Salted well water
\n– Brackish water
\n– Brine water<\/p>\n

Reverse osmosis purifies the water of its salt content while additionally removing all contaminants such as various viruses, bacteria, and pollen down to a size of 0.001 micron without using any toxic, chemical treatments. This treatment uses a multi-layered membrane that filters the water under high water pressure.<\/p>\n

Electricity production<\/strong><\/p>\n

Harnessing\u00a0renewable, clean and free energy<\/strong>\u00a0such as\u00a0solar and wind power<\/strong>has allowed\u00a0AguaSmart<\/strong>\u00a0to develop an\u00a0innovative and environmentally friendly<\/strong>and sustainable solution to meet the multiple challenges surrounding insufficient energy supplies in remote areas where infrastructure improvement is necessary.<\/p>\n
